Turning Waste From a Problem Into a Solution

on Thursday, November 4, 2010

Waste has always been such a big problem for us. So many different methods of destroying waste have already been tested but everything has failed to get rid of waste. Efforts to eliminate waste have been so fruitless to the point that man had to be contented with waste management and no longer seek the destruction of waste. The currently most popular means of managing waste is the landfill system which involves and collection of waste and gathering it in one place called dumpsite or landfill. The trash is then covered with soil.

The energy problem is another pressing issue that needs to be addressed. Most of the energy being consumed today comes from brown energy sources that greatly harm the environment. brown energy sources such as coal and oil release harmful greenhouse gases whenever they are extracted or consumed. Greenhouse gases are the primary cause of global warming and climate change. In spite of all the negative impacts of these energy sources, most countries remain dependent on them simply because they have no other choice. This is because none of the available alternative energy sources are efficient enough to meet man’s seemingly insatiable demands.

Now there is a green energy technology breakthrough that has the capability to solve both energy and waste problems. Biosphere technology is an innovation in the gasification process that solves the energy problems by turning waste from a problem into a solution. Biosphere tech can clear solid wastes without causing any material amounts of pollution released into the environment. It is not only a waste management measure; it is a true waste disposal method that can completely eradicate solid waste and hence, a real solution to the waste problems.

Biosphere technology also solves our energy problems by utilizing the waste it has cleared and turning it into green energy or specifically clean electricity. Biosphere machines are the agents of biosphere technologies. Biosphere machines take in waste and place it inside closed chambers. Inside the chambers, the waste is treated, broken down, and converted into extremely hot steam. the resulting steam is then controlled to fuel power generators that produce electricity.

Another unique edge of biosphere technology is its motivation factor. It attracts people to actually dispose of waste because they will get a huge incentive in the process. The said incentive is of course electricity. Biosphere electricity is so efficient it can pass as commercial electricity. It can fully replace coal and oil, maintaining the level of efficiency while at the same time greatly mitigating the level of pollution.

With biosphere machines, waste is no longer a problem but a solution.
